Procurement / Contract Manager (Singapore Work Opportunity)

About the role

The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, from pre-contract tendering through to post-contract commercial close-out. The role covers contract administration, cost management, quantity surveying (QS), variation and claims management, and subcontractor commercial management.

Key responsibilities

• Review, administer and manage main contracts and subcontract agreements
• Manage contractual correspondence, notices and documentation
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions and statutory requirements
• Prepare and manage variations, loss & expense claims and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
• Track and enforce contractual milestones and obligations
• Monitor and guide QS activities including quantity take-offs
• Prepare and submit interim payment claims and progress valuations
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tender submissions and internal budgeting
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and conduct commercial negotiations
• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle

About you

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years of contract management and/or QS experience in the construction industry
• Singapore construction industry experience is required, including familiarity with local practices, regulations and market rates
• Strong knowledge of Singapore standard forms of contract, including SIA Conditions and PSSCOC
• Proficient in contract administration, variation management, EOT and claims processes
• Strong QS skills covering measurement, BOQ preparation, cost estimation and valuation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Project
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
