About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Bangkok on a full-time basis. This role is crucial to supporting our procurement operations and ensuring efficient supply chain management across our logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Ocean Freight Procurement Support: Support Procurement Manager in obtaining freight rates for key lanes in Thailand and other Asia region (where necessary).

• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, depots and trucking companies, focus on Thailand market.

• Quotation Coordination: Consolidate carrier/vendor’s offer and provide rate comparisons for review by Procurement Manager.

• Data Entry: Update and maintain accurate rates and vendor information in MRI.

• Booking and Operational Support: Follow up space availability and other carrier-related issues affecting customers and internal team.

• Internal Team Coordination: Coordinate with Sales and Ops on freight rates, provide other procurement-related support.

• Invoice and Billing Support: Follow up rate discrepancies with vendors that cannot be addressed at operational level.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in shipping and logistics
• Good understanding on industry knowledge
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
• A good team player with a proactive and positive attitude
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently
• Fluent in English and Thai
• Understanding of local freight market and experience in liaising with shipping line is an advantage
