Procurement Coordinator - Mandarin Required
Jadcup | Māngere, Auckland | Full-time
About Jadcup
Jadcup is a New Zealand manufacturer and supplier of food and beverage packaging, working with a wide range of businesses and well-known brands across New Zealand.
About the role
We are looking for a proactive and capable Procurement Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day procurement function. This is a standalone role working closely with the Directors on a daily basis and across Production, Warehouse, Sales, QA and Finance.
You will manage purchasing, inventory and replenishment planning, suppliers and inbound supply. Just as importantly, we want someone who can use data to identify risks, support planning and bring practical recommendations to the business.
We are currently improving our ERP and internal systems, so you will also have the opportunity to help shape procurement workflows, reporting and automation.
What you'll be doing
· Managing purchase orders, supplier follow-up, lead times and delivery dates
· Reviewing stock levels, usage, demand and forecasts to support replenishment decisions
· Identifying shortages, excess stock and supply risks early
· Monitoring supplier pricing, performance and reliability
· Coordinating overseas orders, freight and inbound supply
· Using purchasing, inventory, lead-time and cost data to prepare recommendations for the Directors
· Working with Production to ensure materials are available when required
· Supporting new products, samples and customer projects
· Maintaining accurate procurement information in the ERP system
· Contributing to system, workflow, reporting and automation improvements
What we're looking for
· Junior–intermediate procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory experience
· Strong Excel and data analysis skills
· Strong systems aptitude and confidence learning or working with ERP systems
· Good planning, organisation and follow-through
· A proactive mindset — able to identify issues and bring recommendations, not just wait for instructions
· Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with Directors and internal teams
· Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are required
· Experience in manufacturing, packaging, importing or inventory-based businesses would be an advantage
· Interest in AI, automation and smarter ways of working would be an advantage
Opportunity to grow
We are open to junior and intermediate candidates with strong potential. As the business grows, there is an opportunity for the right person to take greater ownership of the procurement function and potentially progress into a lead or supervisory role, including supporting future team members.
