Procurement Development Transportation Associate

Headquartered in Singapore and operates in other Southeast Asian countries including Thailand and our Thailand Branch looking for Dynamic Transportation Procurement

Working hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Working location: Fortune Tower (MRT Rama 9)

What'll You Do:

• Vendor Sourcing & Partnership: Source, select, and onboard new trucking vendors. Negotiate contracts, credit terms, and freight rates to secure the best cost and service quality.
• Cost Optimization & Analytics: Analyze transportation cost data to identify savings opportunities, drive procurement efficiency, and deliver on cost-reduction commitments.
• Performance & KPI Management: Establish and manage vendor service standards using KPIs. Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure alignment with best practices and internal/external policies.
• Tech-Driven Operations: Monitor, manage, and optimize end-to-end logistics operations utilizing our internal Data Systems and TMS (Transportation Management System).
• On-site Quality Control: Conduct on-site visits to trucker facilities for quality qualification, truck inspections, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Cross-Functional Projects: Partner with various internal teams on key projects to deliver agile and quality procurement solutions.

What'll You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Direct experience in 3PL, E-Commerce, Express, Logistics, or Supply Chain with trucking companies or a strong subcontractor connection network is a major plus*.*
• Proven track record in contract negotiation, vendor management, and driving supplier performance improvements.
• Good verbal and written English skills is plus.
• High accountability, eager to learn, and highly adaptable. Proven ability to work under pressure, manage urgent deadlines, and collaborate effectively as a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong time management, and a patient, professional attitude towards clients and suppliers.
• Microsoft Excel (Google Sheets is a plus).
