Procurement Engineer -Civil

• Manage the complete procurement process for civil construction materials, subcontractors, equipment, and related services.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, material requirements, and technical documents to identify procurement requirements.
• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to approved and potential suppliers and subcontractors.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, technical compliance, delivery schedule, and company requirements.
• Obtain competitive quotations and prepare detailed quotation comparison statements for management approval.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Coordinate with the Project, Engineering, QS/Commercial, Site, Store, and Finance teams to ensure procurement requirements are clearly understood and fulfilled.
• Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to the required project/site locations.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, outstanding materials, and pending procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with the technical team for material submittals, samples, approvals, and compliance requirements.
• Identify alternative materials or suppliers where appropriate, subject to technical approval.
• Maintain and update the approved supplier and subcontractor database.
• Evaluate supplier performance, including quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
• Support the preparation and negotiation of subcontractor agreements and service orders where required.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures and approval workflows.
• Maintain proper procurement records, including RFQs, quotations, comparison statements, purchase orders, delivery documents, and supplier correspondence.
• Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
• Assist management in developing procurement plans and strategies for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Resolve procurement-related issues such as delayed deliveries, material shortages, quality concerns, and supplier disputes.
• Ensure urgent site requirements are coordinated and addressed without unnecessary delays.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
