Procurement Engineer - Civil

• Manage end to end procurement of civil construction materials and subcontractor packages.
• Handle monthly procurement volumes of approximately AED 20 million.
• Procure RCC, concrete, structural steel and other civil construction materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain quotations, prepare commercial comparisons and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Review technical and commercial offers and coordinate approvals with relevant teams.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, QS and Site teams to meet project requirements.
• Ensure timely material delivery within approved budgets and project schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance and material availability.
• Identify cost saving opportunities through market analysis and value engineering.
• Maintain procurement records, trackers and documentation in line with company procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in civil construction, EPC or contracting companies.
• Proven track record of managing procurement volumes of approximately AED 20 million per month.
• Strong hands on experience in RCC/concrete, steel structures and civil subcontractor packages.
• Good understanding of the UAE construction market and supplier network.
• Strong commercial negotiation, cost analysis and supplier management skills.
• Experience in evaluating technical and commercial offers and preparing comparative statements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Project, Engineering, QS and Site teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
• Candidates with experience in large scale construction, infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects will be preferred.
