Procurement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer in MEP contracting and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services while ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules. The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and demonstrate excellent supplier management and commercial negotiation skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in MEP contracting and construction companies.
• Proven experience in procurement for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and construction materials.
• Experience with local and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, contract administration, and supply chain management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in ERP procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
