Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to strengthen our supply chain and support the growth of our product range in sourcing raw materials, components range of compressed air filter, filter element and gas dryers as well as nitrogen generators. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new supply sources with a strong emphasis on cost reduction, technical improvements, and supplier quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers globally, with a focus on cost competitiveness, technical capability, and quality standards.
• Manage the procurement process for components used in compressed air and gas dryers, and nitrogen generator systems.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable, long-term partnerships.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring technical and quality improvements in supplied components.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align supplier capabilities with product requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits, technical evaluations, and negotiations.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for supplier selection and contract awards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and international trade requirements.
• Travel internationally (including China and other regions) as required for supplier visits, audits, and negotiations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant procurement/supply chain experience in a technical engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment components, preferably in compressed air, gas treatment, or related fields.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to supplier base in China.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally on short notice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a cost-optimization mindset.
