Procurement Engineer

• Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials and equipment
• Request and review quotations to secure the best pricing and term
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials on site
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse staff
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
• Track inventory levels and forecast material requirements
• Handle supplier issues, delays, and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
• Assist in cost control and budgeting for projects

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• With experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction industryl
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing software/tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate with various departments and suppliers
