Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process for construction and engineering requirements.

2. Develops and executes strategic sourcing plans for projects and construction-related requirements.

3. Leads bidding, quotation evaluation, commercial analysis, and supplier negotiations.

4. Identifies, evaluates, and develops new suppliers and contractors.

5. Negotiates and manages contracts and commercial agreements for project and long-term requirements.

6. Monitors purchase orders, supplier commitments, deliveries, and project timelines.

7. Works closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

8. Resolves supplier and project-related issues and proactively manages procurement risks.

9. Identifies opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, process improvement, and supplier optimization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering field;

2. At least 2–3 years of experience in procurement, construction, engineering, or project-related functions.

3. Experience in sourcing construction services, contractors, materials, and/or equipment.

4. Strong analytical, negotiation, cost evaluation, and problem-solving skills.

5. Knowledge of bidding, sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management.

6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP/procurement system experience is an advantage.
