Procurement Engineer

Procurement – 2 Open Positions

We are looking for professionals to join our Procurement team. We are currently hiring for 2 positions: Procurement Engineer (Electronics) and Procurement VA/VE.

Both roles work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and suppliers to support procurement operations, improve supplier performance, and achieve cost and business targets.

1. Procurement Engineer (Electronics)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement operations, including price approval, supplier selection, part master setup, and sample part follow-up.
• Monitor and improve supplier delivery performance to ensure stable and sustainable supply.
• Drive cost reduction activities to achieve annual cost reduction targets.
• Handle 4M changes and DCR from suppliers and coordinate with R&D and Quality teams for approval.
• Control and monitor the procurement budget according to the plan.
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, or a related engineering field.
• Good understanding of supplier management and procurement processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

2. Procurement Engineer VA/VE

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop VA/VE ideas from suppliers and internal teams.
• Analyze product costs, conduct cost benchmarking, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop short-term and long-term cost reduction plans.
• Lead VA/VE projects from idea creation through implementation, including project targets, KPIs, and milestones.
• Coordinate with Procurement, R&D, Production, Quality, and other related teams to drive projects forward.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues and risks, and support timely decision-making.
• Lead discussions and workshops with key suppliers to develop cost reduction opportunities.
• Build strong and cooperative relationships with suppliers to achieve win-win solutions.
• Prepare and present project progress, results, and cost improvement activities to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of work experience in Procurement, R&D, Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related fields.
• Experience working with suppliers and handling negotiations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of product cost and cost structure analysis.
• Good communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Good command of English is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in VA/VE or cost reduction activities.
• Experience in cross-functional project management.
• Experience in Should-Cost Analysis, cost benchmarking, or product tear-down analysis.
• Experience working with international suppliers.
• Experience in supplier productivity improvement or Digital Transformation (DX) projects.
