Procurement Engineer

PROCUREMENT ENGINEER – CIVIL

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Industry: Civil & Building Construction

Requirements:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of GCC experience in procurement, preferably within civil/building construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Ability to review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
• Good knowledge of UAE/GCC construction material markets and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/procurement software is an advantage.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately/short notice are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of civil and building construction materials.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, QS, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
• Prepare and process RFQs, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure materials are supplied as per project requirements and schedule.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
