Procurement Engineer – Electrical

Location: Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 2+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Job Description:

• Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and components.
• Source and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure materials are procured within approved budgets and timelines.
• Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and components.
• Good vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Electrical Engineering background is mandatory/preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
