Procurement Engineer

Job Summary :

• We are looking for a Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials, coordinate with suppliers, evaluate quotations, prepare cost estimates, and support the purchase and quotation process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Source materials and products from suppliers based on project requirements.
• Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Prepare material cost estimates and costing sheets.
• Analyze supplier offers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers/clients.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and purchase orders (POs).
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain procurement records, quotation details, and supplier information.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding material requirements and procurement status.
• Support the procurement process from sourcing to order completion.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to compare quotations and analyze costs.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with suppliers and customers.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and handle multiple procurement activities.

Education

• B.E./B.Tech – EEE, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering

Experience

• 0–1 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related field.
• Freshers with good communication and analytical skills may also apply

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
