Procurement Engineer Instrumentation

Standard Job Description

Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree or equivelent experience • Experience with SAP protocols • Knowledge of MIL-STD FTI parts/electrical hardware • Experience in identifying material vendors that can deliver quality products on schedule while meeting cost challenges

Desired Skills

• Adopts an agile and can do attitude so that flight test operations are not impacted at FW and the test sites • Track FTI hardware availability and inventory and implement trigger points for re-ordering such hardware • Ability to support multiple platforms and projects and setting priorities • Good organizational and communication skills (verbal & written) • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
