Procurement Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineering professional with strong Procurement and Supplier Management experience to lead our Procurement Engineering team and support our advanced manufacturing operations.

This position requires a strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes to effectively source and manage machinery, automation equipment, spare parts, tooling, and technical materials. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure that technical requirements are translated into effective sourcing strategies and reliable supplier solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement Engineering team.
• Manage technical sourcing for machinery, automation equipment, spare parts, tooling, and engineering-related materials.
• Understand and evaluate technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify appropriate technical solutions and suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities in terms of technology, quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Drive cost reduction, localization, and supplier development initiatives.
• Manage supply risks and develop alternative sourcing strategies for critical equipment and components.
• Support CAPEX, automation, and manufacturing improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering Procurement, Technical Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related functions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Experience working with manufacturing technologies such as Automation, Robotics, Injection Molding, Metal Stamping, Progressive Die, AOI, or related technologies is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiation.
