Founded in 1993, GT-Max Motors (M) Sdn Bhd grew from a small motorcycle repair shop in Shah Alam into one of Malaysia’s leading motorcycle dealers. As our Procurement Executive, you will help make sure the right spare parts and accessories arrive at the right time and price to keep riders across the country on the road.

What you’ll do

• Source and purchase motorcycle spare parts, accessories and related products from local and overseas suppliers
• Issue, track and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure on-time delivery and stock availability
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost and margin targets
• Monitor inventory levels, analyse usage trends and plan stock replenishment together with Warehouse, Sales and Service Centre teams
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with local and international suppliers, including regular performance reviews and visits

What we need

Must-have

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 2 years’ procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a fast-paced trading, distribution or automotive environment
• Experience working with overseas suppliers and familiarity with basic import terms (Incoterms, lead time, payment terms)
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Good-to-have

• Experience in the motorcycle, automotive or spare parts industry

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers

• Previous exposure to cost-saving projects, supplier performance reviews or vendor consolidation initiatives
