PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Job Scope:

Product sourcing and development

• Source new corporate gift items from suppliers, manufacturers, and online sourcing channels
• Identify trendy, practical, premium, and sustainable gift ideas suitable for corporate clients
• Develop new product concepts based on market demand and client requirements
• Compare materials, finishing, packaging, and customization methods for each product
• Work closely with suppliers to confirm specifications, MOQ, lead time, and pricing
• Work with Sales, marketing, design, sourcing and operations team to support project execution.

Proposal and idea development

• Prepare creative product proposals according to client brief, campaign theme, budget, and target audience

Market and trend research

• Monitor market trends, seasonal gift trends, and competitor offerings
• Study new materials, eco-friendly products, premium packaging, and new customization methods

Supplier coordination

• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers on quotation, sampling, materials, and production capabilities
• Negotiate price, MOQ, lead time, and packaging options

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement / sourcing / purchasing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good analytical and cost management skills
• Knowledge of import / export processes and regulations is an advantage
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
