Procurement Executive

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing and quotation comparison to purchase orders, delivery coordination and documentation.
• Source, evaluate, develop and manage local and overseas suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts and other commercial terms to achieve the best value and cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service and resolve supply, production, quality and delivery issues.
• Analyse market prices, raw material trends and procurement data to support sourcing strategies and management decision-making.
• Optimise procurement costs and inventory levels while minimizing excess stock, waste and supply risks.
• Drive procurement process improvement, system enhancement, standardization and implementation of procurement best practices.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, supplier records, contracts, invoices, reports and procurement documentation.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and procurement audits to ensure compliance, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Prepare monthly reports and analysis to support KPI achievement, cost control and strategic decision-making.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Admin or equivalent.
• Familiar with Autocount, ERP and Barcode system.
• A positive team player and willing to take ownership.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
