Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, engineering items, consumables, and indirect materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and identify new vendors.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement to support production.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality teams to meet material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain procurement documentation, vendor records, and purchase reports.
• Work on cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare procurement MIS reports and support inventory optimization.

Required Skills

• 5 Plus years of procurement experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience in sourcing raw materials, casting components, engineering items, or industrial consumables.
• Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
