Procurement Executive

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

Biofics Private Limited is looking for a Procurement Executive to manage procurement activities for Bio-CBG plants, EPC projects and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of plant, project, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other required materials.
• Source and evaluate suitable vendors based on quality, price and delivery timelines.
• Collect and compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement-related documentation.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, operations, stores and accounts teams.
• Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Monitor pending orders and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Support cost-effective purchasing while following company procurement procedures.

Required Skills

• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of industrial/project procurement.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in engineering, or Diploma in Engineering - any trade

Preferred: Experience in EPC, manufacturing, renewable energy, Bio-CBG, biogas or other industrial sectors.
