Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, equipment, and other operational requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries, product availability, and lead times.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure sufficient supply and prevent stock shortages.
• Compare supplier pricing, product quality, and terms to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers when required.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, and other relevant departments on purchasing requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, quantity, or delivery.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with Company requirements, food safety standards, and HALAL requirements.
• Guide and assist the Junior Purchasing staff in handling daily purchasing tasks and ensure proper follow-up on assigned matters.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in the F&B, food manufacturing, central kitchen, or related industry will be an added advantage.
• Good sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple purchasing requirements.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as the role requires regular communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
