Procurement Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely supplier acknowledgement and accurate ERP updates.
• Monitor supplier on-time delivery performance and proactively resolve supply issues.
• Coordinate delivery rescheduling, pull-ins, push-outs, and order cancellations based on customer demand.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure purchased materials meet quality and technical requirements.
• Perform regular purchase order reconciliation with suppliers.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with Production, Planning, Sales Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to support business operations.
• Support Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation by coordinating procurement activities.
• Expedite urgent purchases to meet production and customer requirements.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with the Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor supplier Return-to-Vendor (RTV) activities and ensure timely replacement or return of rejected materials.
• Review supplier invoices and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct supplier visits to resolve quality or delivery performance issues and strengthen supplier partnerships.
• Prepare weekly procurement updates, supplier performance reports, and escalation reports for management.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Fresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
