Procurement Executive

Responsibilities

• Participate in cost reduction, lean inventory control, vendor performance management and collaboration
• Handle day-to-day operations for product sourcing and purchasing to support both manufacturing and trading environments
• Forecast demand and inventory trends to meet operational needs while minimising surplus and wastage
• Assist in handling shipping documents and customs clearance
• Perform 3-way matching of Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Order (DO) and Invoice
• Work closely with inter-departmental stakeholders, including Sales, to understand business needs and align procurement activities accordingly
• Act as a point of contact to facilitate internal communication and improve the effectiveness of cross-functional workflows across the organisation
• Compile, analyze and interpret purchasing and inventory data to draw conclusions and reports to stakeholders
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the purchasing field
• Good knowledge of purchasing / direct materials
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong initiative and problem-solving ability; able to work independently under pressure
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive execution and follow through
• Proficient in MS Office, including pivot tables and data analysis for reporting purposes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision or other ERP systems preferred
• 5 days work week, Monday to Friday
• Working location: 22 Senoko Way, Singapore
