Procurement Executive

About the role

To ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate supply of raw materials and packaging for continuous production at all co-packing facilities, and to support the Procurement Manager in sourcing strategy, innovation and market intelligence for assigned categories, with accurate ERP data and reporting.

Key responsibilities

1. Daily Procurement Execution

• PO Management : Issue and manage POs accurately and on time per MRP signals.
• Supplier Follow-Up : Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) to all sites.
• Price and Term Adherence : Purchase strictly per agreed contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Documentation Control : Maintain purchasing records and documents for quality and finance audits.
• Innovation Sourcing : Identify new natural/functional ingredients, sustainable materials, and emerging technologies.
• Sourcing Strategy : Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned critical categories.
• Market Intelligence : Monitor market and price trends for key raw materials to support planning and budgeting.

2. Data Integrity and Reporting

• System Utilization : Keep purchasing data, supplier information, and transaction statuses updated in the ERP system.
• Performance Monitoring : Track and report key metrics such as supplier OTD and lead-time adherence.
• Continuous Improvement Input : Identify bottlenecks in the purchasing process and propose improvements.

Education Background :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in purchasing or tactical procurement, preferably in FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• Proven experience using ERP systems for transactional procurement.

Hands-on experience in import procurement, including overseas sourcing, shipping documentation, and customs clearance coordination.

• Language Skills : Good command of English communication; ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage.
