Job Description: Purchase & Procurement Executive IT System Integration

Role: Purchase & Procurement Executive
Experience: 2–5 years in IT procurement / System Integration / IT infrastructure
Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for IT hardware, software, networking, AV, cybersecurity and infrastructure projects.
• Understand technical specifications, BOQs, OEM requirements and convert them into commercially viable procurement.
• Source and negotiate with OEMs, distributors, authorized partners and vendors for pricing, availability and credit terms.
• Prepare and compare techno-commercial quotations, BOMs, rate comparisons and vendor evaluations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Projects and Accounts to ensure timely procurement and project delivery.
• Track POs, deliveries, lead times, warranties, replacements and vendor commitments.
• Maintain vendor database, price lists and product lifecycle information including EOL/EOS and alternate products.
• Ensure procurement complies with tender, OEM authorization, warranty and project-specific requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising technical compliance or project quality.

Ideal Candidate

• Good understanding of IT products and infrastructure: servers, PCs, laptops, networking, storage, security, printers, AV, UPS, software etc.
• Strong commercial negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Able to read and understand technical specifications and BOQs.
• Good Excel/ERP skills and strong follow-up discipline.
• Should have the mindset of a techno-commercial buyer, not just a purchase order processor.
