PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities

• Rate Negotiation: Source and negotiate competitive freight rates (such as FCL, LCL, and air freight spot or contract rates) with carriers and co-loaders.
• Vendor Management: Build relationships with transport providers, evaluate carrier performance, and manage volume allocations.
• Internal Coordination: Support sales, operations, and customer service teams by quickly fulfilling rate inquiries and pricing requests.
• Market Analysis: Monitor shipping capacity, bunker surcharges, and global trade trends to adjust procurement strategies.
• Compliance & Billing: Ensure documentation aligns with shipping regulations, handle invoice verification, and reconcile vendor billing with finance.

Job Requirements

• You will be required to work at our Bukit Tinggi Klang office for approximately one month before we relocate to Sunway Square
• Candidates who are available to join immediately are preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience is preferred.
• Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9.00am to 5.30pm
