Procurement Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Managed end-to-end procurement for MRO, PPE, tools, consumables, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, piping, structural, and project materials.
• Handled EPC & O&M procurement, ensuring timely material availability for project and maintenance requirements.
• Managed PR-to-PO processes, including review, approvals, vendor coordination, and documentation.
• Sourced and developed reliable vendors; evaluated quotations based on quality, cost, technical suitability, and delivery.
• Negotiated pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Followed up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
• Monitored supplier performance, quality compliance, and delivery commitments.
• Verified invoices against POs and GRNs and resolved discrepancies with vendors and finance.
• Prepared procurement MIS, spend analysis, sourcing, and supplier performance reports.
• Ensured compliance with procurement policies, contractual terms, and statutory requirements.
• Maintained strong vendor relationships while supporting cost optimization and uninterrupted site operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of Purchase/Procurement experience in EPC, O&M, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of MRO, PPE, tools & tackles, consumables, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, and project materials.
• Expertise in vendor development, sourcing, negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier management.
• Hands-on experience with PR, RFQ, PO, delivery tracking, GRN, invoice reconciliation, and ERP/SAP MM.
• Proficient in procurement MIS, reporting, coordination, communication, and problem-solving.
