PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase order issuance, order tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Source and purchase products directly from oversea suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, MOQ, lead time, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, production lead time, packaging, quality requirements, and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment and timely delivery.
• Monitor purchase orders from order confirmation through production, shipment, customs clearance, and final delivery.
• Perform local sourcing in Malaysia for product accessories, components, packaging material etc.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost competitiveness, product quality, availability, and supply reliability.
• Monitor inventory and purchasing requirements to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Follow up with suppliers on production schedules and resolve issues relating to delays, shortages, quality, or order discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, pricing, product specifications, and purchase orders.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably with experience dealing with China suppliers.
• Good knowledge and practical understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, freight arrangements, and import purchasing processes.
• Experience in local supplier sourcing and negotiation for product accessories, components or related items.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and SQL will be an advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa and English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage, as the role requires communication with mandarin-speaking business partners.
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple purchase orders and deadlines.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
