Procurement Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Review Purchase Requisitions (PR) and identify suitable suppliers.
• Source and procure bought-out components, Electrical, Mechanical and Electronic items
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations and negotiate price and commercial terms.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (PO) as per company procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning .
• Maintain supplier records, quotations, PO status and delivery commitments.
• Support cost reduction and alternate supplier development.
• Resolve delivery, quality and commercial issues with suppliers.
• Ensure procurement is completed within the required lead time.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement/buying of bought-out items, preferably in an engineering/manufacturing industry.
• Good negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Basic knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with multiple requirements and meet deadlines.
