Procurement Executive

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Executive role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, and negotiating pricing and terms. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with internal departments to understand material and service requirements, and ensuring timely delivery to support operations. The Procurement Executive will maintain accurate procurement records, evaluate vendor performance, and support continuous improvement in procurement policies and processes. Collaboration with finance and operations teams to align procurement decisions with budget and compliance standards is also part of the day-to-day responsibilities. Assist to key in into system the daily purchasing activities. Assist to develop, maintain and strengthen the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation, to ensure data integrity and reliability. Assist to co-ordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in purchasing processes and purchase management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and managing purchase orders to ensure accurate documentation and timely approvals.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier quotations, assess cost efficiency, and support data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within marine, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Ability to work with ERP or procurement systems and proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or shipping company.

Pay: From RM3,900.00 per month
