PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing operations, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and material/service expediting to support onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of technical engineering requisitions, HSE compliance standards, and commercial negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Tendering:

  • Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Invitation to Tender (ITT) for long-lead equipment, bulk materials, and specialized field services.
  • Perform technical and commercial evaluations of supplier bids in coordination with engineering and project management teams.

• Vendor & Contract Management:

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to achieve optimal cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Execute and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and service contracts.
  • Maintain an approved vendor list (AVL) and conduct regular vendor performance appraisals.

• Expediting & Operations:

  • Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery, preventing project downtime or operational delays.
  • Coordinate with logistics, customs, warehouse, and site teams for material clearance, inspection, and inventory reconciliation.

• Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry standards (e.g., API, ISO), quality controls, health and safety (HSE) guidelines, and company governance policies.
  • Maintain complete and auditable records of all procurement transactions, tenders, and contracts.
