Procurement Executive

The responsibilities include ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of oils, fuels, lubricants, and chemicals while maintaining product quality, supply continuity, competitive pricing, and compliance with company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: Manage purchase requisitions, obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, prepare comparative statements, and process purchase orders in line with approved procedures.
• Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery conditions, and rate agreements to achieve competitive commercial outcomes.
• Market Benchmarking: Monitor market price movements, benchmark supplier rates against historical and prevailing prices, and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Cost Optimization: Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, price retention, and price-protection initiatives; maintain supporting calculations and records.
• Supplier Management: Develop supplier relationships, monitor pricing, quality and delivery performance, and address supply issues and commercial disputes.
• Order & Supply Management: Track purchase orders and deliveries, coordinate with end users and Stores, and ensure uninterrupted availability of critical materials.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to approved specifications, applicable safety documentation, procurement policies, and the company's approval matrix.
• Reporting & Coordination: Maintain accurate ERP records and prepare reports on expenditure, savings, supplier performance, market trends, and pending orders.
