Procurement Executive (Electronics)

JOB DESCRIPTION – PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE (ELECTRONICS)Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of electronic components, materials, and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source electronic components, materials, and equipment from reliable suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs).
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and purchase specifications.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and required specifications.
• Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, invoices, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid material shortages.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and material discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ECE, EEE, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management; experience in electronics procurement is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits (ICs), printed circuit boards (PCBs), connectors, sensors, and cables.
• Good negotiation, communication, vendor management, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or purchase management software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in supplier sourcing and quotation analysis.
• Understanding of purchase orders, invoices, inventory control, and delivery schedules.
• Ability to evaluate supplier performance and maintain effective vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and cost-control practices.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
