Procurement Executive - Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement Executive with a mechanical engineering background to support mechanical equipment trading, engineering services, procurement, sales coordination, and supplier/customer communication. The candidate should have good technical understanding, strong coordination skills, good command of English, and proficiency in MS Excel and AI-based tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement and sourcing of mechanical equipment, spare parts, tools, and engineering-related materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for quotations, technical specifications, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Support the trading and sales of mechanical equipment and engineering products.
• Prepare and compare supplier quotations and assist in commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with customers to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Prepare quotations, purchase orders, sales documents, and other related commercial documents.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Sales, Accounts, and Operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Follow up with suppliers and customers regarding orders, deliveries, payments, and other requirements.
• Assist in identifying new suppliers, products, and business opportunities in the mechanical engineering sector.
• Support engineering service-related activities and coordinate with technical teams when required.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, suppliers, customers, and sales activities.
• Prepare regular reports and maintain procurement and sales data using MS Excel.
• Use AI tools and digital platforms to improve research, documentation, reporting, communication, and day-to-day work efficiency.
• Carry out market research for mechanical equipment, suppliers, pricing, and product availability.
• Perform other engineering, procurement, sales, and coordination activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience in mechanical equipment trading, procurement, engineering services, or technical sales will be an advantage.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and communication skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, components, tools, and engineering products.
• Good understanding of procurement and supplier management.
• Strong sales and customer coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare quotations, comparison sheets, reports, and business documents.
• Knowledge and practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and other AI productivity tools.
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
