Procurement Executive - Local Sourcing

RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive - Local Sourcing to manage local procurement activities and vendor relationships. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to meet company requirements while ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage local sourcing and procurement activities for tooling and mechanical components
• Handle purchase orders, purchase management, and procurement processes
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers and vendors
• Ensure timely delivery and cost optimization of materials and services
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance and improve procurement strategies
• Work on procurement documentation and processes using SAP MM module

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• 5-6 years of experience in procurement
• Must have experience in the tooling industry
• Strong knowledge of local sourcing and vendor management
• Experience in SAP MM (Material Management)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
