Procurement Executive / Procurement Junior Executive

Strategic sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality products and services.

Order management: Issue purchase orders, track material orders, and coordinate with transporters to ensure timely deliveries.

Cost optimization: Identify cost reduction opportunities, conduct market validations, and negotiate price adjustments to maximize savings and improve margins.

Quality assurance: Ensure purchased goods meet engineering specifications and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.

Documentation and reporting: Prepare and file relevant documentation, including reports, analyses, contracts, and budgets.

Process improvement: Participate in ISO initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function.

Job requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical or a related field.

• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.

• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and PO management.

• Good understanding of purchasing and supply-chain processes.

• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel and preferably experience with SAP / SBO procurement system.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001/procurement procedures would be an advantage.
