We are seeking an analytical, proactive, and strategic Procurement Executive / Purchasing Executive / Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end purchasing operations and optimize supply chain efficiency. In this mid-level role, you will lead the strategic sourcing of high-quality materials, equipment, and third-party services while controlling expenditure and ensuring supplier performance aligned with business objectives. Working closely with Procurement Managers, Supply Chain Leads, Finance, Quality Assurance, and key internal stakeholders, you will manage vendor evaluations, lead commercial contract negotiations, analyze spend data, and mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities include managing complex tender/RFP processes, monitoring key supplier SLAs, auditing order pipelines across ERP systems, identifying cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring total compliance with corporate ethics and statutory governance. Success in this position requires a strong commercial negotiation capability, data-driven analytical agility, extensive knowledge of vendor management, and a track record of driving procurement value.

Qualifications

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM certification is strongly preferred.
• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Proven experience in vendor identification, strategic category management, market intelligence gathering, price benchmarking, and running formal Requests for Information/Proposal/Quote (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Commercial Negotiation Skills: Strong track record in executing high-value supplier negotiations to optimize pricing, credit terms, lead times, service levels, and volume discounts without compromising quality.
• ERP & Procurement Systems: Advanced operational proficiency in modern ERP and procurement software solutions (e.g., SAP MM/S4HANA, Oracle Procurement, NetSuite, Coupa, or Jaggaer).
• Supplier Relationship & SLA Management: Capabilities in managing key supplier performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs), leading quarterly vendor audits, resolving contract disputes, and implementing supplier development plans.
• Contract Administration & Compliance: Solid understanding of commercial law, purchasing terms and conditions, risk mitigation clauses, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and statutory trade/environmental compliance standards.
• Data Analytics & Cost Modeling: Intermediate-to-advanced data analytics capabilities using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to analyze spend variance, cost breakdown structures (TCO), and working capital impact.
• Inventory & Logistics Alignment: Practical experience collaborating with logistics and warehouse operations to optimize safety stock levels, minimize lead time delays, and support Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management.
• Stakeholder Management & Interpersonal Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to build strong working relationships across cross-functional internal teams and maintain senior vendor engagement.
