ICT Procurement -Sourcing Specialist

Jigsaw Notions is looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our core delivery team. You'll run end-to-end ICT procurement across hardware, software and services, from shaping sourcing strategy to negotiating with vendors and managing contracts through to close.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the Commonwealth Procurement Rules inside out, enjoys the challenge of a complex sourcing event, and gets satisfaction from building capability in the people around them.

Knowledge transfer is a core part of this role. You'll share your expertise with APS staff through walkthroughs, hands-on training and process shadowing, mentor junior and mid-level Jigsaw Notions colleagues, help onboard new team members, and contribute reusable templates, artefacts and procedures that lift capability across both organisations.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic sourcing and procurement advice
• Lead or support RFQ, RFT and other RFx processes from planning to execution
• Prepare and finalise procurement documentation, including acquisition strategies, Statements of Work, evaluation plans, pricing schedules and contract artefacts
• Coordinate evaluation panels, run moderation sessions and finalise recommendation reports
• Negotiate directly with vendors
• Manage contract extensions, variations, novations and closures
• Work closely with stakeholders across the sourcing lifecycle
• Maintain procurement registers and support compliance reporting

About you

• Proven experience delivering ICT procurement in the Australian Government, ideally across hardware, software and services categories
• Strong working knowledge of the CPRs, the PGPA Act and departmental procurement frameworks
• A track record of running compliant RFx processes and producing high-quality procurement documentation
• Confident negotiation skills and a sharp eye for value for money
• The ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to legal and finance
• A genuine interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge
• Australian citizenship with a minimum NV1 Security Clearance
