Procurement Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support the procurement team in sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase documentation, and maintaining procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
• Support the team in obtaining and comparing quotations.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and procurement records.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Assist in tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials/services.
• Maintain vendor databases and update procurement trackers.
• Support invoice verification and coordination with Accounts for payment processing.
• Assist in market research for new vendors, products, and pricing.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of procurement-related records.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement team.

Requirements

• Graduate / pursuing graduation in B.Com, BBA, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with data, documentation, and multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn procurement processes and vendor management.
