Procurement Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role provides hands-on exposure to supplier coordination, quotation comparison, purchasing documentation and procurement processes within a network and cybersecurity solutions company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable and willing to learn.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in technology, network or cybersecurity products is an advantage.
• Able to work well with internal teams and external suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in sourcing quotations for related products/services.
• Compare supplier quotations, pricing, specifications and delivery timelines.
• Assist in preparing Purchase Orders (PO), Purchase Requisitions (PR) and other procurement documents.
• Communicate and follow up with suppliers regarding quotations, orders and deliveries.
• Maintain and update supplier and procurement records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project, Technical and Finance teams on purchasing requirements.
• Assist in tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery of required items.
• Perform other procurement and administrative duties as assigned.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
