Procurement Intern (Hybrid Setting)

About the role

Farmio is looking for a Procurement Intern to support procurement and operations activities. You will work closely with the Procurement, Operations, and Product Development teams to ensure efficient sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and smooth product delivery. This role is suitable for someone who is hands-on, analytical, organized, and interested in procurement, supply chain, and operations within a fast-growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and spearhead day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring sourcing tasks and projects are completed efficiently and on time.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers, supporting mutually beneficial partnerships and continuous growth.
• Communicate with vendors, internal teams, and customers when required to ensure smooth coordination and favorable outcomes.
• Work closely with the Operations and Product Development teams to align procurement strategies with broader company objectives.
• Support management-led projects focused on improving operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and business performance.
• Monitor procurement activities and analyze relevant data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide regular updates and feedback on procurement performance to support management decision-making.
• Review and refine procurement strategies based on market conditions, supplier performance, operational requirements, and customer feedback.
• Prepare reports, analysis, and recommendations for management and the executive team.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure procurement-related administrative tasks are completed accurately and products are delivered according to customer expectations.

About you

• Available for a full-time internship for the entire 3-month period.
• Able to work in a hybrid arrangement from Mega Kuningan, Jakarta (at least 3 days a week).
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Operations, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data, and reports.

Internship Commitment

This is a 3-month full-time internship. Candidates should be able to commit to the full internship period and work from Mega Kuningan, Jakarta on a hybrid basis.

High-performing interns may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role with Farmio after completing the internship, subject to performance evaluation and available positions.
