Procurement Lead

About the role

Lead project procurement planning and sourcing strategies aligned with project objectives. Manage procurement execution, supplier engagement, PO processing and contract administration across projects. Ensure procurement governance, compliance, and risk management throughout project lifecycles. Coordinate stakeholders to ensure procurement milestones support project delivery schedules. Drive cost optimization, supplier development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project procurement planning and sourcing governance
• Manage strategic sourcing, tender, RFQ and supplier selection activities
• Oversee procurement schedules, budgets and project supply readiness
• Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance and procurement risks
• Coordinate with project managers and technical teams on procurement priorities
• Develop procurement dashboards, KPI reports and executive updates
• Drive supplier development and procurement process optimization
• Lead project procurement team performance and capability development

About you

• Min 5 years experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, or project procurement in related industries (FTTH infrastructure)
• Experience supporting infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or capital projects
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategy, commercial negotiation, and supplier management
• Experience managing project procurement schedules, budgets, and risk controls
• Experience using ERP, procurement systems, and project reporting tools
• Strong analytical capability in cost optimization and procurement performance management
