About the Opportunity

My client is a fast-scaling AI infrastructure operator building out next-generation GPU compute campuses across multiple European countries, supporting some of the largest AI training and inference workloads in the region. They're in the middle of an aggressive multi-site build-out, six deployments across four countries in six months. Hardware lead times are a critical path item across the entire rollout, making this a central role in keeping the six-site build-out on schedule.

TThe Role

You'll own hardware and vendor sourcing strategy to keep a live, multi-site AI infrastructure build-out on schedule; managing vendor relationships and lead times across GPUs, networking, and facility equipment.

What You'll Do

• Own vendor sourcing and negotiation for hardware (GPUs, networking equipment, racks) across multiple concurrent site deployments
• Manage and forecast lead times against a live construction/deployment schedule
• Build and maintain vendor relationships at a strategic level
• Work closely with PMO/TPM and facility teams to align procurement timelines with site go-live dates
• Support the introduction or improvement of procurement/ERP tooling as needed

What We're Looking For

• Vendor negotiation experience at hardware/hyperscale volume
• Procurement/ERP platform experience (SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar)
• Track record managing lead times against a live deployment or construction schedule
• Comfort operating under time pressure across multiple concurrent projects

Nice to Have

• Direct experience procuring GPU/AI compute hardware
• Experience sourcing for a multi-site, multi-country build-out
