Procurement Lead - Electrical & Electronics

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement direct procurement and strategic sourcing strategies for E&E commodities.
• Drive cost reduction, commercial negotiations, value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers to improve quality, cost, delivery and supply-chain resilience.
• Lead supplier localization, risk mitigation and supplier development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams for new product introduction (NPI).
• Support product development, supplier industrialization and sourcing decisions.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, procurement risks and long-term sourcing partnerships.
• Drive cross-functional projects to achieve measurable savings and improve procurement efficiency

Preferred candidate profile

• 15+ years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong expertise in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) commodities and component sourcing.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, commercial negotiations and supplier development.
• Experience in supplier localization, risk management and supply-base optimization.
• Exposure to NPI, product development, engineering collaboration and industrialization.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation and global stakeholder management skills.
