PROCUREMENT MANAGER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Procurement and Supplier Management

• Manage local and overseas procurement activities to ensure products are purchased at competitive prices and delivered on time.
• Source and identify qualified OEM manufacturers and suppliers in China.
• Travel to China to conduct supplier visits, factory audits, and capability assessments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and principals.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and other commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality, pricing or delivery issues.
• Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing opportunities to reduce supply risk and improve cost efficiency.

2. Demand and Supply Planning

• Plan replenishment based on sales forecasts, stock levels, lead times and business requirements.
• Monitor product availability and take timely action to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Support planning for new product launches, promotions and seasonal demand.

3. Import and Supply Coordination

• Coordinate overseas shipments, import documentation and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and relevant authorities to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Monitor shipping costs, lead times and shipment status.
• Ensure import activities comply with applicable regulatory and documentation requirements.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics and Customer Service teams to support smooth supply chain operations.
• Coordinate with Finance on supplier payments, landed costs and purchasing budgets.
• Provide regular updates on stock availability, incoming shipments and potential supply risks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Good knowledge of procurement, demand planning, and import processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Autocount, Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Prior experience in the bathroom products industry is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vendor relationship at once.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and respond effectively to supply challenges.
