Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing sourcing and procurement projects for contracted MRO services, including tender processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, implementation, and transition into operational execution.
• Conducting comprehensive market analysis of the MRO landscape to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and high-performing suppliers that support business objectives.
• Supporting the implementation and optimization of regional material cycle management initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Identifying and driving initiatives that enhance material availability, reduce costs, and explore alternative production and sourcing solutions.
• Performing commercial assessments of supplier proposals and leading negotiations to secure favorable commercial and contractual outcomes.
• Supporting strategic and cross-functional projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), customer-related initiatives, digital tool implementation, and process improvement programs.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with operational, technical, and business requirements.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical procurement, sourcing, engineering, or supply chain management, preferably within the aviation MRO sector or a comparable technical services environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven project management skills and a structured, results-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic business environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP and Power BI is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
