PROCUREMENT MANAGER

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead the company's purchasing and procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating competitive pricing, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining strong procurement controls. The Procurement Manager will work closely with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Engineering, Construction, Catering, and other departments to ensure that all purchasing requirements are delivered on time, within budget, and according to required specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company's end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and canvassing to purchase order issuance and delivery.
• Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, systems, and internal controls.
• Review and evaluate purchase requests, specifications, quantities, and required delivery dates.
• Source qualified suppliers and contractors for materials, equipment, supplies, and services.
• Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, specifications, lead time, payment terms, and reliability.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain a reliable and competitive supplier network.
• Conduct supplier accreditation, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
• Lead and supervise procurement staff and ensure proper delegation and monitoring of purchasing activities.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong experience in sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, purchasing, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to negotiate competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing controls, and supplier evaluation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and preferably experienced with ERP or procurement systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to transparency and accountability.
