Procurement Manager

About the role

Farmio is hiring a Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing across our full SKU range (eggs, rice, cooking oil, and new categories as we grow). This is a hands-on, high-authority role — you will negotiate directly with suppliers on price and payment terms, and you will help set the day-to-day priorities of our procurement team.

Key responsibilities

• Source globally across all Farmio SKUs — constantly opening new supplier relationships, not just managing existing ones
• Negotiate directly with suppliers on price and, critically, payment terms — this is the most important part of the role
• Set direction and delegate to the procurement team based on current business priorities
• Communicate fluently in Chinese — a large share of our supplier base requires this
• Act as a proactive, self-driven sourcing partner who brings opportunities to the table rather than waiting for direction

About you

• 5–10 years of procurement/sourcing experience, ideally with global or cross-border supplier exposure
• Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written) — non-negotiable given our supplier base
• Strong, demonstrated experience negotiating payment terms directly with suppliers, not just price
• Highly proactive — someone who opens doors on their own rather than waiting to be told
• Comfortable directing and delegating to a small team, even without a formal management title
• FMCG background is a plus but not required — open to strong sourcing/negotiation talent from adjacent industries
