Direct Purchasing Manager

Cornerstone Türkiye — we are partnering with a global manufacturing group to hire a Direct Purchasing Manager with hands-on chemicals , minerals purchasing and Packaging experience.

• Run end-to-end P2P: PR→PO, RFQs, supplier allocations, ERP updates.
• Source and qualify suppliers; build dual-sourcing and allocation strategies.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts; deliver measurable TCO savings.
• Track supplier performance (quality, delivery/OTIF); lead corrective actions and audits.
• Maintain clean ERP data, dashboards, and audit readiness; report results clearly.

Chemicals

• Solvents ( Isopropyl alcohol, Furfuryl alcohol)
• Phenol-formaldehyde resins
• Reticulated polyurethane foam

Minerals

• Zircon sand/flour, Silicon carbide
• Dead-burned magnesia, Fused zirconia, Alumina

Skills

• Proven, hands-on direct purchasing of chemicals and minerals in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, supplier development, and contract literacy.
• Solid ERP experience and advanced Excel/data skills.
• Clear stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Material Engineering
